Two more big canvases hot off the drawing board - Coughton Court and Tunbridge Wells. And a Christmas card - as usual the weather was boiling at the time! I've taken a stall at the Coughton Court Winter Festival on the first weekend of December - thermal socks a must as I'll be in a marquee in the courtyard. Brrr.

It's goodbye seaside and hello Cotswolds for a set of images I might get printed as cards.

At last Bella The Brave Fairy has made it in to print. She took so long to see the light of day that I'd almost forgotten the story! It's dedicated to little Nia in America, and to my lovely mum who would have been proud as usual, and would have bored all her friends by showing it to them incessantly.

Floral coastal scenes ...
all now dispatched to Cornwall. Time to do some more card designs now - it'll be strange to work on something 6"x6" rather that 24"x24".

More canvases

Lots of big box canvases going on at the moment, and all heading down to Cornwall to Whistlefish Galleries. Very gluey and covered in paint, but having a great time!

It's Christmas

Wreath on the door and all cards written, if not posted. Feeling smug. It's very easy to design Christmas cards when the temperature is below zero in my work room. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I am officially the world's worst blogger! It's been over a year since my last post and I've forgotten how to do it! Anyway - after years of meaning to have a go, I've at last managed to buy some canvases and actually paint on them. Apart from realising that I need bigger paintbrushes, more paint and an easel instead of a drawing board, it's been great fun and very liberating. How nice not to have to worry about deadlines, bleed-off, trim marks and gutters. I've joined Warwickshire Artists AND have got a painting overall which must make me a proper artist at last!
